We're 99% sure that this is the greatest story to ever grace the interwebs, so just be aware of that before continuing. Your favourite guy from Friends, Matthew Perry has just revealed that he beat up the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau when they were in school together.
The actor revealed on Jimmy Kimmel that he and the Prime Minister went to the same school in Ottawa, Canada, and that their relationship took an ugly turn when he was in the fifth grade.
"I have a story about Trudeau that I'm not proud of. I was reminded of this by my friend." Matthew told Jimmy. "[My friend Chris Murray and I] actually beat up Justin Trudeau.
“I think he was excelling in a sport that we weren’t, so it was pure jealousy. And we beat him up,” Matthew said. "His dad was the prime minister … but I don’t think that’s the reason we beat him up. I think he was the only kid in school that we could beat up."
Matthew went on to confirm that this was the move of a "stupid kid," and pointed out he was not trying to "brag" about hurting someone.
"I was a stupid kid and I didn’t want to beat him up. In fact, I think at one point I tried to turn it into love play," he said.
