You Won’t Believe What the World’s Most Expensive Macaron Comes With
St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort in Florida has partnered with luxury French glassmaker Lalique to create the world's most expensive macaron.
You'll need a spare $9703 USD ($13,031 AUD) to try this lavish treat, which is made with white tea, dusted with edible 24-carat gold leaf flakes and served in a keepsake Lalique crystal box.
Fortunately, the extravagant experience also comes with an overnight stay at one of the Miami hotel’s Sky Palace Suites, which offer uninterrupted views of the Atlantic ocean for up to eight guests.
It’s on the suite’s private balcony where your pricey pastry will be served along with a signature afternoon tea.
If the macaron is a little out of your price range, you can also enjoy the hotel’s limited edition program of Lalique themed cocktails, each served in signature engraved glassware.
