If you're anything like the rest of the world you devoured the second season of Netflix's You on Boxing Day as soon as it was released. The show, which garnered major popularity after its first series, is a wild and entertaining ride, taking fans on a seriously twisted journey.

The second season brought Joe (Penn Badgley) to Los Angeles, where he goes by "Will" and is trying to hide from his not-so-dead ex Candace. Of course, it doesn't take long before he meets the next object of his obsession, a woman literally named Love.
Many aren't quick to peg Love for being murderous, which it turns out, wasn't the only surprise. In the final scenes, we see Joe and a pregnant Love moving into an idyllic-looking house. Joe peers through the fence and spots a neighbour sitting poolside reading Kafka, Jane Austen, and Aldous Huxley. "This is just the beginning because this is where I had to be. Exactly where I had to be to meet you. There you were with your books and your sunshine. So close, but worlds away. I will figure out a way: a way to get to you. See you soon, neighbour," Joe says.
The main question posed by fans: who is she?
The prominent fan theory on the internet at the moment is that the woman is Joe's mum. Throughout the season, we see her in flashbacks as she goes off with various men and is the victim of an abusive husband.
While a third season has not been confirmed by Netflix, Badley sent fans wild after accidentally letting it slip in a press interview. "You know, dare I say, in the third season—oh, god!" before attempting to backtrack.
