A slew of top Aussie musicians are uniting for a one-off festival in support of marriage equality!
'YesFest' will see artists including Tkay Maidza, Jimmy Barnes and The Preatures performing together in Sydney at the end of October. The event aims to raise funds for the Yes campaign and hopes to give a final push to encourage voters in the same-sex marriage postal survey.
For those who can't make it to Spotless Stadium in Sydney on October 29th, the entire event will be streamed on YouTube. MTV will also be recording backstage for a killer Facebook Live.
The current YesFest lineup includes:
Flight Facilities (DJ)
Heaps Gay DJs
Kirin J Callinan
Nick Cester (Jet)
Northeast Party House
"We’re supporting YesFest because we’d rather stand for people’s rights than stand in their way of receiving them," said Flight Facilities.
More acts are expected to be revealed ahead of the event, stay tuned for more information. If you'd like to head along to the big day, General Admission 18+ tickets are on sale right now at ticketmaster for $66.87. Click here.
