The eleventh annual InStyle and Audi Women Of Style awards were held on Wednesday, May 8th at Sydney's ritzy Bar M with a host of Australian talent frocking up to celebrate this year's inspiring crop of recipients.
Our judging panel - which includes Nicole Kidman and Deborah Lee Furness - honoured ten inspiring women that bring the message of the awards to life. 2019's line up of recipients includes leaders in science, business, fashion, social justice, beauty and entertainment, boasting a list of combined achievements that proves style is more than just the clothes you wear.
Including The Voice Of Now Amy Shark, The Sustainability Champion Palisa Anderson, and The New Gen Innovator Macinley Butson. (Meet the ten future shapers here.)
Our 166 guests raised a glass with Veuve Clicquot champagne or custom cocktails and were treated to a bespoke Italian feast by Bar M while Amy Shark gave an acoustic rendition of her songs Adore and I Said Hi.
Host Mellissa Doyle kicked off the night - as our gorgeous honourees were invited to take the mic and remind us all exactly why the next generation is in very good hands - each one taking home a Georg Jensen trophy. Also on-hand to present the awards was judge Layne Beachley, former minister Julie Bishop and Phoebe Tonkin.
To personalise the space - and highlight local design talent - we projected larger than life fashion shoots on the interior walls. Adding a touch of glamour, the tables were lined with vibrant red and pink floral arrangements by Sophia Kaplan.
