There are many things that are important when it comes to friendships: honesty, loyalty, humour, and of course, what kind of wine you prefer. Whether you enjoy a crisp white, a sparkling rosé or a full-bodied red - your choice of drip says a lot about your personality.
New research conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Coravin claims there are big differences between red and white wine drinkers. A survey of 2000 people aged over 21 found that white wine drinkers are more likely to be extroverted individuals who prefer to stay up late and listen to punk music, apparently. They're also more likely to be curious, sarcastic perfectionists, prefer cats over dogs and are willing to spend a less on a bottle.
The study also looked at the traits of red wine drinkers, who tended to be early risers, have a penchant for jazz music and deemed themselves adventurous, humble and organised. Those who preferred red also saw themselves as ‘wine aficionados’, and that was generally the case.
One thing the two groups agreed on was that their favourite place to enjoy a drink is at home.
According to Bustle, those that prefer rosé tend to be "drowning in feminine charm and style". You’re also bubbly and personable, which makes you an ideal guest at any party. You often attract guys in finance, and generally, have a love for sandals and sundresses and anything pink.
There you have it.
