With just days to go, prep for the 2018 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is well underway with the confirmed models (including four Aussies and two Kiwis), the performers, the air date and show's location all confirmed.
Below, everything we know so far.
Every year, the Victoria's Secret Angels (13 models who work for the brand exclusively) are joined by around 40 other models, some of whom are well-known, such as Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid (all confirmed), and others who are just getting their start in the modelling world.
This year, four Australian models are walking including regulars Kelly Gale and Shanina Shaik and first-timers Duckie Thot and Alannah Walton. Kiwis Georgia Fowler and Maia Cotton are also confirmed.
Victoria’s Secret Angels Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo (back after a three-year hiatus), Candice Swanepoel, Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell and Taylor Hill are walking the show. However, Lily Aldridge is skipping this year due to being pregnant with her second child.
The location of the Victoria's Secret show changes frequently, but this year the brand is going back to where it all started: New York. The show has previously been held in Paris, Miami, LA, New York and Shanghai.
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will take place on November 8th, 2018 in New York City. However, it won't be aired on TV until December 2nd in the USA, meaning Australia will likely be able to watch the show on the 3rd.
Every year the models are joined by some of the biggest names in music. Last year, Victoria's Secret tapped Harry Styles, Miguel, Leslie Odom Jr. and Jane Zhang and for 2018, the brand has confirmed Bebe Rexha, The Chainsmokers, Halsey, Kelsea Ballerini, Rita Ora, Shawn Mendes, and The Struts.
The designer collaboration
After last year's collaboration with Balmain, Victoria's Secret has announced they've teamed up with London-based designer Mary Katrantzou. Debuted at the VS Fashion Show will be a capsule collection which will be available to shop as soon as it hits the runway.
The Fantasy Bra
The Fantasy Bra is the most expensive piece of the show - last year's cost over $1 million AUD - and just one Angel is chosen to wear the creation per year. Last year, Lais Ribeiro had the honour and Jasmine Tookes, Lily Aldridge, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio are among those who have previously worn the bra. The 2018 Angel is yet to be announced.
How to watch in Australia
In America, the show is scheduled to air on ABC, Sunday December 2nd, meaning Australia will air the show on free to air either the 2nd or the 3rd of December. Last year, Channel 9 had the honours and in years prior, Foxtel. Stay tuned for more details as they're announced.
