We first fell in love with Maisie Williams as the brave and adventurous Arya Stark in Game of Thrones, but since the series ending (*sob*) the British actress has set her sights on a new venture, Two Weeks To Live. The new series is a six-part comedy about a harmless prank that goes awry.
The Emmy-nominated actress will play Kim Noakes, a young misfit who was brought up in a remote rural life of isolation and taught bizarre survival techniques by her mother after her father's sudden mysterious death. All grown-up, Kim sets out to honour her father's memory - but when she meets two brothers in a bar, a prank call sets a chaotic series of events into motion, leaving their lives in danger.
The new Sky series was written by Gaby Hull, who was behind the addictive BBC drama, Cheat.
Williams said of her new role: “Looking forward to getting into something new, I think Two Weeks To Live has really great potential and I want to make something incredible with this wonderful team.”
Still no announcement on when the series will air, but with Williams as its titular character we're predicting it to be our next obsession.
