Georgia May Jagger
Jagger took to Instagram to debut a double dose of tonal turquoise, with a vibrant teal on one side and a denim-hued blue on the other. The kicker? She dyed it completely herself on camera while hosting a digital 'hair colour party' in partnership with British salon Bleach London. And boy oh boy, was she feeling free. "They never let me be blue because of modelling jobs; look at me now!" she laughed during the live. "It's self-care, so I don't think people can judge what that is for you; whether it's yoga, meditation or dyeing your hair blue", she shared. Amen.
Rose is certainly no stranger to experimentation in the hair colour realm (she's rocked every statement hue from scarlet and emerald to lilac and light blue), but this is certainly the first time she's gone for a colour compromise. She summed up the logic behind the shade switch-up in her Instagram caption, writing "What can I say!? Sometimes you just need to feel blue and other times you need pink to lighten your day." Balance never looked so bright.
Another member of the 'hair colour party' squad, Geldof joined Jagger on the Instagram Live, leaving the tonal action to her pal and opting for stark contrasting colours instead. She also embraced a different take on the shade placement, trying out a front-back split rather than a side-by-side one, with a light wash of lime around her face, and a peachy pink at the back. If there are any auditions to play a watermelon coming up, she's good and ready - method acting at its finest.
Lipa seems to be striving for the record for most hair quarantine colour changes, taking the bleached sections of her usual blonde and black blend from bubblegum pink to neon peach and now to a radiant red in less than a month. While she's yet to reveal whether boyfriend Anwar Hadid was the colourist behind this latest strawberry shade (he did a magnificent job on the blush hue, might we add), we don't see it sticking around for too long. As for what's next? Our bets are on burgundy.
Okay, technically this brunette and blue mix is solely the result of her gorgeous aqua shade growing out, but hey, we're still into it. Turns out, Duff herself isn't. "Guys... next time she decides to dye her hair green during a pandemic... somebody be a friend and stop her," she shared in an Instagram Story. We get it; hair-gret is real, but hey, when else but during a pandemic can you so freely change your colour? We maintain that it was a solid choice.
