Jesinta Franklin is facing a common dilemma most brides face, the un-practicality of having a dramatic gown in your wardrobe.
The 25-year-old wore two stunning Vera Wang gowns on her wedding day to Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin. Jesinta took to Instagram to share her reunion with her dress after having it dry-cleaned. Hilariously, she struggled fitting it in to her car!
Last November, in a move that has shocked fans, Jesinta and Buddy tied the knot in a secret ceremony.
The model and TV presenter took to Instagram to share a sweet snap of the couple on their special day captioned ‘Mr & Mrs Franklin’. It appears Campbell has already taken the Franklin name having updated her social account to reflect the change.
Captioned simply ‘My Love’ the Sydney Swans star shared the same photo to his own Instagram account.
The bride wore a corseted tulle gown by Vera Wang for the ceremony, estimated to be worth $20, 000. The 25-year-old was front row at the American bridal designer's fashion week show earlier this year, where she sat alongside Kylie Jenner.
Following the intimate vows, Jesinta changed into a second bridal look - a straight lace dress with a capped sleeve and love back. Franklin work a suit by Hugo Boss.
The pair were engaged in 2014 but delayed their wedding plans to focus on the mental health issues that led to Franklin taking a break from the AFL.
But Australia's darling couple has been staunch in their support of one another in the face of adversity. In a recent interview with WHO Magazine about the struggles Buddy Franklin has gone through this year and how they've both got through them.
“This year was really focusing on his health and his happiness,” she said. “As hard as it was to go public with [his struggles], if we can take some of the pain and hurt from everyone else then that’s one small thing we’ve done. We’ve come along way in 12 months and I’m really proud of him. He’s kicked arse this year.”
