Three major publications just voted Canada the top travel destination for 2017 and we are totally on board.
Canada boasts amazing landscapes, over 200 national parks, wine regions, cities and of course mountain ranges perfect for skiing and hiking. Even more importantly, it’s a pretty safe place and people can get in and out with ease (looking at you US of A).
“Whether it’s that once-in-a-lifetime polar bear safari, a road trip through the wilds of Yukon or a honeymoon in Montreal, there’s so much more to Canada,” says Donna Campbell, managing director for Destination Canada in Australia.
The New York Times, Lonely Planet and Condé Nast Traveler have all named Canada their top destination and with 2017 marking 150 years since confederation (just think of all the celebrations), we have to agree this is the year to book, travel and explore.
