The world’s first avocado bar has just opened in Brooklyn, New York and it’s a dream come true for those who can’t get enough of the green stuff.
From smoothies to toast, dips to salads – Avocaderia is your one-stop shop for every avocado dish you can imagine.
The menu has been influenced by different cuisines including Mexican, Japanese and Egyptian, so you can expect to try your favourite fruit with some unique, regional flavours.
And we’re claiming the smashed avo on toast as Australian, ok?
According to The New York Times, it was love at first taste for Italian Francesco Brachetti, who first tried the heavenly fruit when he lived in Mexico. The new obsession sparked the idea to create Avocaderia with his cousin and chef Alberto Gramini, and his friend, Alessandro Biggi.
