The Weeknd reportedly registered a new song called 'Like Selena' earlier this week, hinting that there's more to music yet to come out of his and Selena Gomez's 10-month relationship. But Bella Hadid, who dated the singer on and off for two years, came first.
In his new single 'Heartless', The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, sings about someone "coming back into his life," seemingly referencing Hadid taking him back a year after their split (the two broke up for good in August 2019).
The lyrics read: ‘You just came back in my life / You never gave up on me (Why don't you?) / I'll never know what you see (Why won't you?)/ I don't do well when alone (Oh yeah)/ You hear it clear in my tone.'
The rest of the lyrics, which include "been runnin' through the pussy, need a dog pound" and "Hundred models gettin' faded in the compound
Tryna love me, but they never get a pulse down" could be behind Bella posting an Instagram story of her listening to a song called, 'The Less I Know the Better' by Aussie band Tame Impala.
Because who really wants to hear about their ex sleeping with hundreds of models? Not us.
