Get ready to shine bright, shine far and be a star, your fave 2000s flick about a barbie doll coming to life is back. Yes, Life Size is officially getting a sequel.
Life-Size 2 has been green-lit by Freeform, the sister network of the Disney Channel, reports Variety. Not only are we getting a much-deserved sequel, we're also getting Tyra Banks! The supermodel is returning to her iconic roll as Eve and we are all ~hashtag blessed~.
In the sequel, Eve will be magically awoken to help a young woman learn to live and love again. Once again, the doll will get to experience the ups and dows of real life while helping out her new human friend. They'll surely explore such joys of life like eating bread:
Getting on escalators:
And having a desk job, where you don't know what on earth you're doing:
To make the revival even better, the sequel is being targeted as a “fun, edgy, modern Christmas movie." So you better mark it in your calendar if you feel like getting festive and enjoying a dose of childhood nostalgia on December 24th next year.
No word yet on whether or not Lindsay Lohan will return to her role as Casey Stuart, though considering her recent attempts to land literally every acting job in the world via Instagram, we think she'll definitely be interested.
One thing is for sure, we're excited and so is Tyra:
The movie will air on Freeform in December 2018, as part of the network’s “25 Days of Christmas” programming month, here's hoping we get a glimpse of the flick down in Australia, too.
