From 2006 to 2010 MTV's The Hills was a secret guilty pleasure for women of all ages, beloved by millions, a precursor to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians era. In case you missed it, the cast confirmed the show is returning to our screens, reuniting at the MTV VMAs for the special announcement.
From villains Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt to bad boy Justin Bobby and fashionable Whitney Port, we can’t deny our excitement for The Hills revival which is expected to premiere in 2019. Since the show ended, Lauren Conrad the fashion intern for Teen Vogue, has since become her own entity, after launching her own clothing lines and other business pursuits, which along with her 1-year-old baby, Liam, will be keeping her busy. She will not be making a comeback, a source told People she will not be participating in the revival of the show because, “she’s in a different place in her life” but still “wants everyone to enjoy themselves.”
Another of the TV series favourite and mother of three who was keen to part take in The Hills reunion, was Kristin Cavallari, but was unable to sign with MTV as she already has ties to E! with her own show, Very Cavallari.
Bad boy star, aka Conrad’s flirty friend and Cavallari’s on-and-off man, Brody Jenner, has since kept a low profile following the Kardashians rise to fame. Earlier this year, he married Kaitlynn Carter in a very luxurious service in Indonesia. Apprently, only his father, Caitlyn Jenner attended. Former star, hasn’t yet addressed his return to The Hills but the day after the news broke on the shows revival, The Hollywood Reporter reoprted that he was “in talks” to join.
Despite the post Hills drama, Conrads close friend, Partridge has since had a baby with professional BMX biker Corey Bohan and welcomed her daughter, Kirra in 2016. She will be making her return to The Hills scene and previously told E! News that, “I feel like we’re all at a different place in our lives. We’re past the drama, past the catfights”, she also added that, “We’re all married. We all have kids … We’d all be able to relate to each other way more than five years ago.”

The notorious couple are both making a comeback onto The Hills. Everyones favourite reality TV scoundrels who welcomed their first son, Gunner Pratt, in 2017. It is no secret that the pair have been long awaiting a reunion, “Yeah, with or without all the cast members is fine with me,” Montag previously said on her and husband Spencer’s podcast, Make Speidi Famous Again.
Along with them, little sister, Spencer Pratt is also going to make her debut.
Whitney Port announced a day after the reunion news broke that Conrad’s fellow Teen Vogue intern is going to be joining the rest of the cast. She also joking told People that, “Maybe they’ll let me out of the fashion closet this time.” Since the show, Whitney worked for Diane von Furstenburg in New York for several years, she then launched a fashion label, 'Whitney Eve' in 2009. Then later on was a judge on Britain's Next Top Model. She also married producer Tim Rosenman in 2015 and welcomed her first child, Sonny, in 2017.
Justin Bobby, aka Patridge’s maybe boyfriend has made it no secret that he has long await the reunion of the cast, “I think it would be good to see everybody,” he told People. “I don’t know what the hell they’re gonna film, with all the strollers and marriages and stuff, so I guess we’ll see.” Since the show ended 8 years ago he has been modelling, playing music in his one-man band BobbyrocK and working on his haircare line, BRUSH by Justin Bobby Brescia.
Lo Bosworth, made sure everyone knew she would definitely not be featuring in the new season in her Lady Lovin’ Podcast, “I don’t want any association with any of those people. The dissociation from all those people is what I’m hungry for,” Bosworth said, adding that, “I think that there were some people on the show that have gone on to great success and we’re friends and I’m happy for them. There are others that I probably never would have in my life unless we worked together at one point.”
The once troubled ex-boyfriend of Conrad was amongst the rest of the cast when the news broke on the revival of The Hills at the MTVs MVAs, making his debut known for the next season of the show.
The go to party friend on The Hills, will also be returning to the scene and all hopes are on for him to continue where he left off at the end of the season years ago. He has since married Jennifer Acosta in 2013, and had their daughter, Isabella in 2014 and Francis 2016.
