The eerie full-length trailer for Season 2 of The Handmaid's Tale has finally arrived, and it's every bit as chilling as our leading lady Elizabeth Moss promised.
"There is literally no way that anyone can guess what happens," the actress told EW of the second season. "You can try, but you won’t do it... We have no intention of doing anything else than being even more 'balls to the wall' than we were in Season 1."
The series creator Hulu released an official synopsis for the season, saying: "shaped by Offred’s pregnancy and her ongoing fight to free her future child from the dystopian horrors of Gilead. 'Gilead is within you' is a favorite saying of Aunt Lydia. In Season 2, Offred and all our characters will fight against—or succumb to—this dark truth."
The stellar cast, featuring Moss, Samira Wiley, Alexis Bledel, Joseph Fiennes, and Australia’s Yvonne Strahovski will be joined by newcomers Cherry Jones (Transparent, 24), Marissa Tomei, Clea DuVall (Veep), and Bradley Whitford (Get Out, The West Wing) as a Commander.
The eight-time Emmy award winning drama will return at 8:30pm on April 26th and will be screened on SBS and SBS On Demand. If you haven't seen Season 1 just yet, you can still catch all the episodes on SBS On Demand.

Fans were treated to an equally-chilling first trailer, which showed flashes from the upcoming episodes set to a haunting rendition of For What It's Worth (Stop, Hey What's That Sound) by Buffalo Springfield.
