On a non-pizza-eating day, J-Lo's diet is actually pretty strict.
Jennifer Lopez is a big fan of food, especially pizza. The singer and actress previously revealed she survived on one slice of pizza a day when she was struggling to make it in the industry, though surprisingly this hasn't decreased her love of the cheesy, carby holy grail of food.
Singer Ne-Yo, her co-host on World of Dance, recently revealed that Jen is basically a Pizza Slayer.
“We hung out a couple times at J Lo’s home,” he told People. “That’s where I realized just how much J Lo can eat.”
According to Ne-Yo, Jen is a champion eater, finishing “a whole half a pizza by herself. You’d never know by looking at her. She works out like a beast.”
On a non-pizza-eating day, however, J-Lo's diet is actually pretty strict.
“My diet is pretty light, lots of protein and I start out every morning with a [protein] shake. It sets the tone for the day and gives me a lot of energy,” she told news.com.au last year. “Lately, while I’ve been doing my show in Las Vegas [at Planet Hollywood], I’ve been eating a lot of fish, especially a lot of sushi. I don’t want to feel heavy before a show.
“But then after the show I will eat a normal meal because I wind up being awake for three or four hours even though it’s late. Different schedules dictate what I will eat and when.”
