Angie Kent’s season of The Bachelorette starts next week, and we don’t want to spoil it for you, but she does find love at the end of it.
Watch the trailer below:
She told OK! Magazine she "really didn't want to" do a Nick Cummins and walk away still single. When asked if she picks someone in the end, she said, “No-one wants to watch a movie when they know the ending, so I'm just gonna leave it at I'm very, very happy.”
But don’t expect a proposal, or even future wedding bells. Angie alluded to the fact that she’s not necessarily interested in getting married. “I've never planned a wedding, even though a lot of girls do when they're younger. I've planned my funeral, which is a bit weird. I have the songs and everything. But if it's something my partner really wanted to do I'd consider it,” she told OK! Magazine.
Before the show, Angie got in touch with former bachelorette and newly-engaged Georgia Love, who emparted all her The Bachelorette wisdom onto Angie. “Georgia Love gave me her number and we had a two-hour talk. She was very honest and had the best advice. She said to me, 'Just think outside of the Bachie bubble, who's gonna be there when Angie's just Angie and not the Bachelorette anymore?' and I thought of that a lot,” said Angie.
Angie’s been open about what she want in a guy, and looks aren’t at the top of her list. Someone who’s funny is a must. “I want someone who's a weirdo, too. Life's gotta be exciting!”
