Congratulations are in order for former Home and Away star Tessa James and her husband, Nate Myles, 32.
Tessa gave birth to the couple’s first child, sharing the news on social media.
The 26-year-old posted a black-and-white photo of former NRL player, Nate pushing a pram. Alongside a quote from Winnie The Pooh, “as soon as I saw you i knew a grand adventure was about to happen,” she wrote.
“I think that ‘miracle’ has come from the media and not from something that I’ve said, but in saying that, being pregnant is a miracle because growing a baby, it’s pretty incredible when you think about it,” Tessa revealed in an interview about her pregnancy last year.
At the age of 23 Tessa was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, sharing her courageous battle with fans and winning hearts around the country. "After finishing my chemotherapy sessions and being given a clean bill of health I actually feel thankful for the challenges that were thrown our way. It has changed us for the better. And I believe everything happens for a reason," she told NewsCorp.
The couple are yet to confirm the name of sex of their newborn, most likely taking some time to privately settle into their new life.
Congratulations to the beautiful family family!
