This year’s ARIA line-up of performers is one of the most exciting yet; featuring Australian favourites Hilltop Hoods and Tones and I as well as international superstars Dua Lipa, Halsey and Khalid.
As for her outfit, Martin is channelling an edgier, sexier approach compared to her normal style, which is more feminine, classic and fresh. Although she wasn’t able to share too many details with us just yet, we were assured that her outfit would be worth the wait – the piece arriving from overseas the day before the show!
“Obviously the ARIAs have always been a bit more rock and roll, edgy and sexy, and I think my stylist and I have absolutely nailed the look this year. We’ve had something come from overseas and it arrived today. There will be some sequins on show, but that’s all I’ll tell you. I’ll leave the rest for you to see tomorrow,” Martin said.
“It’s always been a night where people feel confident to express their personal style and we’ve seen that time and time again at the ARIAs. I do think we’ll be seeing lots of sequins, embellishments, and potentially some oversized ruffles, similar to what Lizzo wore to the AMA’s on Sunday.”
This year has been one of Martin’s busiest, and according to the model and presenter, there’s no sign of slowing down heading into 2020. Her next string of projects are some of her most diverse to date, with Martin splitting her time between Melbourne and Sydney.
“There’s a real diversity in the type of projects I’m working on next year. I think the variety is my favourite part of the industry I’m in, knowing that you’ll never wake up to the same projects. When I’m allowed to speak more freely about some of the things I have in the pipeline, you’ll see just how diverse they are, but unfortunately, there’s not too much I can give away at this point.”
