PSA: 'Reputation' Won't Be Available On Apple Music Or Spotify And Taylor Swift Fans Are Furious
Keen to binge-listen to Taylor Swift's new album Reputation on Friday? Well, you'd better start saving your pennies because it's not going to be available on streaming services like Apple Music or Spotify! Not right away, at least.
Tay's reps have reportedly informed the streaming giants that her new album will only be available for purchase during its first week of sales, meaning fans will have to fork out to listen to it via iTunes or go old-school and buy the CD.
Four industry execs also told the NY Times that they did not expect the album to be made available for streaming right away as the "LWYMMD" singer will be aiming for physical sales rather than streams.
The streaming services will be negotiating with Taylor's people as to when Reputation will be made available to stream.
As frustrating as this is, we're sure die-hard Swifties won't have a problem with plonking down some dollar, dollar bills in support of the queen to hear her highly anticipated tunes!
