Taylor Swift made the frustrating decision to withhold her new album Reputation from streaming services including Spotify - well, the announcement was frustrating for fans at least. We're sure the singer is stoked with her decision right now considering how well the new CD is doing with sales.
Billboard reports that Reputation sold approximately 700,000 copies in the United States in its first 24 hours. How crazy is that?!
The singer was the first musician to release three albums with sales of over one million copies within a single week with 1989, Red and Speak Now.
Should sales continue at the same rapid speed, Taylor will be well past the million mark by this Friday making Reputation her fourth album to exceed one million in one week.
Looks like Taylor is set to beat her own record! Congratulations to the star.
