There's exactly one week until Taylor Swift's highly anticipated comeback album, Reputation is unleashed upon the world, and she's already shared a heap of new singles.
And lucky for us thirsty fans, the star has given us another glimpse into the album by releasing a new track, Call It What You Want.
The 27-year-old just dropped the romanic tune, which harks back to Taylor's Love Story era with some serious "Romeo save me" vibes. Fans are already claiming that the song is talking about Tom Hiddleston.
The song begins with reference to her downfall - AKA that time when the Kardashian-West's plotted a social media takedown, and her ex Calvin Harris went on a nasty Twitter rampage about their relationship. The singer was hit hard by former friends and partners in 2016, as she began a new romance with Tom.
"My castle crumbled overnight // I brought a knife to a gunfight // They took the crown but it's alright // All the liars are calling me one // Nobody's heard from me in months I'm doing better than I ever was" she sings at the beginning of the track.
Taylor sings the line "Call it what you want" over and over in the chorus, which seems to refer to all the names she was called for moving on with Tom after her split from Calvin. The singer was accused of cheating on the DJ, and of betraying him. There were also endless reports about the romance being a "fake" PR Stunt.
Next up, the line "I want to wear his initial on a chain around my neck." Could this be a reference to the infamous I Heart TS singlet? Fans certainly seem to think so.
One thing that throws a spanner in the works for fans is a reference to a month in the year. She recalls a moment between her and the song's subject in 'November' - which fits into her timeline with current boyfriend Joe Alwyn. Taylor dated Tom from June 2016 - September 2016, and began seeing Joe sometime near the end of 2016.
Anyway, for now we're guessing Joe is the man in the tune! Listen to the track for yourself below...
