Taylor Swift has released the first single off her sixth studio album, Reputation.
"I don't like your little games," Swift whispers over the opening synthesised beats of Look What You Made Me Do.
"The old Taylor can't come to the phone right now/ 'cause she's dead," the 27-year-old proclaims.
In fact that lyric, (which is now her Instagram bio) is most likely a reference to the #TaylorExposed scandal, which all started when Kim leaked a phone call between Taylor and Kanye.
Taylor has been teasing a comeback with a series of cryptic Instagram posts. The songwriter may have some venom for her haters if the clues are anything to go by. Fans know the 27-year-old loves to use symbolism, and her repeated use of the snake is a strong message about what this next phase is about–she has shed her skin now she's returned.
