The Bachelorette is about to get very interesting with not one but four new contestants joining the cast this week.
Among the new suitors is rumoured winner Stu Laundy–however the millionaire pub owner is already making waves as reports emerge that the 44-year-old is still married. Laundy still finalising his divorce settlement four years after his wife Rachel asked for a separation.
Stu has recently open up about the divorce, "I prefer being married, absolutely. (Divorce) wasn’t my decision,” he told News.
“But any chance of reconciling is pretty-much over I would say.
“And that’s basically why the divorce has taken so long. I really wanted to work it out.”
Stu and Sophie met some years ago, he even asked her out, on a day aboard his luxury yacht, but the plans kept falling through. Laundy is estimated to be worth $500 million dollars, he is the son of Australian pub owner Arthur Laundy.
“It’s a risk for someone like me to go on the show,” he said. “I ummed and aahed a lot but what got me over the line was that I just thought I saw something in Soph,” he said explaining the lengths he has gone to just for another chance at love.
“When I first met her it was excellent and I really wanted to meet her again, and I had to go through the rigmarole to do it.”
Stu’s maturity may also be a deciding factor for Monk who told The Project, she is definitely looking for someone over thirty.
“They asked me that and I went 'I'd like 30 because getting younger is a bit weirdo,” she said. Multiple sources have reported that he has won Sophie's heart and won the reality series.
