Once considered only for working mums, Jane Fonda lovers and equestrians, the '80s staple is making a comeback. Beckham paired her pants with a pair of Balenciaga sock boots and wore the stirrups under the heel. Stirrup pants first became popular in the 1980s. They were originally a style used for horse racing where an elastic band is secured underneath the foot to keep the pants from riding up. The style came in bold, bright colours (yes, even metallics) before being wiped out when minimalism came in during the 1990s.
