Calling all 90s boys and girls! Your favourite girl-group are reuniting (again) for a show-stopping world tour.
Yes, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Gerri Halliwell, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm - AKA The Spice Girls - will be taking their wonderful tunes on the road once more. Can you say girl power?
It's been a tumultuous ride since they first sang Stop Right Now in 1994. On 31 May 1998, Halliwell devastatingly announced her departure from the Spice Girls, with the rest of the group unofficially announcing a 'hiatus' in December 2000. Then, in 2007, they reunited for a revival tour and released a documentary about their reunion entitled Spice Girls: Giving You Everything. Again, the gang got back together to perform at the 2012 London Olympics Opening Ceremony. But, we're not here for an emotional musical history lesson. Back to the 2018 reunion!
The news comes after the five women caught up with their former manager, Simon Fuller, five days ago. TMZ reports that the catch up was actually a "rough planning" session for a world tour that will kick off later this year in the U.K.
While no Australian tour is reported, sadly, the group will also travel to the United States to perform.
This is one revival we are *very* excited about.
