Sophie Monk and Stu Laundy have addressed speculation about their relationship in a new radio interview this morning.
Speaking to Soph's friends Kyle and Jackie O on KIIS FM, the couple was quizzed about *that* awkward interview on The Project and *those* photos taken in the studio carpark moments earlier.
"If you’ve got bright lights on you, and you’re on live television, you’re not going to be all over each other," Monk said about her body language on the current affairs show.
"You're too old to be affectionate," joked Sandilands, making the point that Soph, 37, and Stu, 44, are more mature and reserved about PDA.
Laundy went on to confess, "Friday was one of the busiest days I’ve ever had." The publican then slammed Kate Langbrook for declaring "[Sophie] hates him," on Instagram. "Just before I went on radio [Kate] said, ‘I'm not sold on you, it's going to take a lot for me to believe you.'”
The former Bardot singer insisted the couple were not arguing, simply replying "no way, that’s just our facial expressions normally".
However the media backlash hasn't dampened their love for each other. "It hasn’t changed my life one bit, I’m very happy, concluded Laundy. "I worry more than he does, he couldn’t give a sh– to be honest," affirmed Monk.
