Sophie Monk appears emotional in the teaser for her interview on A Current Affair. The 38-year-old is discussing her recent breakup with Stu Laundy, 44, for the first time since announcing "it just didn't work out" on Instagram.
The couple dated for around eight months after find love on The Bachelorette, Sophie is about to embark on a new reality show venture, she signed on as host of Love Island.
“I’m very emotional. Oh s**t, I can’t cry,” Monk said in the interview which is scheduled to air on Tuesday night. Asked by the reporter if there “were clashes” in their romance, Monk responded: “Absolutely”.
“Soph’s and my story is our story,” Stu revealed to Confidential following the split.
“I’m sorry to Australia but the reality is most of these stories will finish with the couple not together. I’ve got no regrets as I’ve got a friend for life ... I think Soph and I were meant to be mates like a fate thing.”
