Over the weekend, as part of VIVID Live, Solange shut down the Sydney Opera House with four back-to-back sold out concerts.

She's been singing since age 5
Solange's first performance - at an amusement park - was when she was just five-years-old. She began writing her own songs at age nine.
She was a Destiny's Child back up dancer
She became a back-up dancer for Destiny's Child at age 13, occasionally filling in for the lead singers on stage.
She wrote some of Beyonce's hit songs
Solange wrote Beyonce's singles 'Get Me Bodied' and 'Upgrade U' for her 2006 B'Day album.
She has a son
Solange married Daniel Smith, a Texas Southern University football player, in February 2004 when she was 17 years old. She gave birth to their son, Daniel Julez J. Smith, in October of the same year, age 18. The pair divorced in October 2007.
