If Sex and The City has left a Carrie shaped hole in your heart then you’re not alone.
Luckily our girl, SATC writer Candace Bushnell feels the same way. At a recent event in N.Y.C. she got grilled about some of the biggest questions fans still have about the characters, naturally discussion soon turned toward the possibility of a third film.
“I always wish that it would,” she revealed. "I don’t know if it will ever happen, probably not," reports Us Weekly.
Meanwhile, Bushnell also revealed the reason Carrie didn’t end up with Aiden.
“My mother never felt that Aidan was the right person for Carrie,” the author said of John Corbett’s character, who had an on-and-off relationship with Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie before she ultimately ended up with Chris Noth’s Mr. Big. “So I felt obligated to take her side."
Wait, does this mean it wasn’t fete but Bushnell’s mother?
“Perhaps,” she says.
