Selena Gomez has been laying low since undergoing a life-saving kidney transplant in September of 2017, making just two appearances so far this year.
The singer chose to make her third appearance of the year at the important WE Day event in L.A. on Thursday, an event that honours youth who are making a difference in their local communities and around the world. Selena has been doing the event for six years, and clearly wasn't going to skip this for any reason... heartbreak over Justin Bieber be damned!
The 25-year-old looked incredible in a navy dress and orange suede Jacquemus heels with an asymmetrical ball-shape stiletto.
Selena spoke to the audience at the event alongside Nellie Mainor, a young fan who has also dealt with serious health battles.
The Same Old Love singer changed into a red sweater, black trousers and black boots for their time on-stage.
"Last year I had a kidney transplant and it was weird," Selena told the audience at the event. "It was weird but hard."
