Selena Gomez might have been virtually off the radar at the start of the year, too busy with attending her best friends' weddings and jetting off on Mexican vacations. Now, however, the singer is well and truly back into the swing of things, stepping out for two red carpet appearances in a week.
Her latest, for the Hollywood Reporter’s Empowerment In Entertainment event in Los Angeles yesterday, saw the star don a chic, understated polka dot dress. Black with white spots, the dress neatly wrapped around her body, flattering Gomez’s already-toned torso.
Paired with simple black pumps, a slick hair clip and radiant blue eyeshadow, Gomez looked all the part an elegant, grown up celebrity. In other words, one of her best casual red carpet looks thus far.
The appearance follows her first red carpet walk of 2019, where Gomez took to another Los Angeles red carpet to support the WE charity, an organisation that celebrates young people. Opting for a simple and understated Christian Dior tea dress, Gomez didn’t let us down.
Fingers are now firmly crossed for a Met Gala appearance next week.
