The singer, who was last romantically linked to Bieber in 2018, then went on to reveal what she's looking for in the future when it comes to love.
"I want it to be real and I don't want it to be codependent or messy or [with a] lack of communication," she said. "I think you know when you get older, you find people that are actually right for you, that are actually on the same wavelength."
Though the Disney alumnus is not in a rush to find 'The One' and has been "super single" for the last two years.
"I'm chillin' right now, you guys. Honestly, [dating] is so stressful so I’ve been having way too much fun being on my own," the singer admitted. "It sucked for the first year, I was like, 'I just want to cuddle, I just want to watch something and be adored.' Now it feels good. Now it feels awesome."
It's been two years since Gomez ended her whirlwind relationship with The Weeknd (AKA Abel Tesfaye) which saw her briefly rekindle her romance with Bieber - before they called it quits once more in March 2018.
Gomez's refreshingly candid comments on love come just days after she dropped new songs titled 'Love You to Lose Me' and 'Look at Her Now' - a not-so-subtly reference to her turbulent relationship with Bieber.
She isn't fazed by the media attention shrouding the music however, as she actually wants her former flame to have a listen.
When asked if Gomez wants the unnamed "individual" to tune in, she replied: "Yeah, I do."
Bieber married Hailey Baldwin in a lavish ceremony back in August where the model bride graced the aisle in a bespoke Off-White wedding gown. The 22-year-old later changed into two other bridal ensembles which included a Vera Wang slip dress (which she paired with box-fresh trainers) and a Ralph & Russo halterneck number.
