People Are Literally Queuing Up To Buy Saint Laurent's Rhinestone Boots
Remember dying when you saw those rhinestone, knee-high boots strutting down the runway during Saint Laurent's Fall show in Paris this year? We don't, but it's probably because we fainted.
The boots are made from over 3,000 rhinestones PER SHOE, and they're set to retail at around $10,000.
The fashion world has gone so gaga over them that both Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman are reporting they have waitlists, though neither retailer would divulge the numbers. "Many," a Saks spokesperson cryptically told WWD.
"At Saint Laurent, the crystal diamanté slouchy boot had such an emotional response to it. There’s something to be said about glitz and glamour — it’s the boot of the season," Saks' senior vice president, fashion director, Roopal Patel, told the website.
