Roxy Jacenko has made a surprising statement about her upcoming second wedding with her husband, Oliver Curtis. The Sweaty Betty PR maven has revealed to the Daily Mail that she would rather purchase property than tie the knot in a vowel renewal ceremony.
"Oli wants to get married again, and I don't," she said. "I don't feel like I need the fanfare and I'd rather purchase property."
Oliver re-proposed to his wife following his release from prison, after serving one year for conspiracy to commit insider trading. While Roxy initially seemed super excited by the second wedding, apparently her interest has waned.
"Wedding's are expensive and I just think it's a depreciating asset - property is an appreciating asset," she continued. "I'm in no rush to do it again. I've done it once and I didn't love it the first time. The whole thing was very daunting walking down the aisle and everyone is staring at you and your shoe is catching tulle."
Continuing on, Roxy revealed that if the second wedding goes ahead it will be "VERY low-key."
The interview will come as a surprise to fans, who've watched Roxy try on wedding dresses and pick out fabric swatches in various Instagram posts since the proposal.
Regardless of whether or not the couple continue with their second wedding, it seems they are incredibly happy to be reunited.
