One scene in particular saw Margaret seethe through a photoshoot with famed photographer Cecil Beaton.
“Cecil does one thing – fairytales,” she groans to her mother, as she adjusts her tiara and plays with her glamorous gown.
It’s Margaret’s 29th birthday and her portrait, poised and rigid, is set to be released to the world.
For Sam Chatto, the grandson of the late Princess Margaret, dispensing an image to the world is quite a different story.
Thanks to the wonderful platform that is Instagram, Chatto, and his unconventional royal-life, is open for all to see.
Trawling through the 22-year-old's public profile, in which he travels the world and eats cereal straight from the box, we get an inside look into the decadent details of a young royals life.
Chatto, 24th in line for the British throne, has now used the social media platform to update his fans on the past several months.
"Where have I been?!" he begins. "I spent six weeks in the very north of Scotland immersed in pottery and ceramics, being taught by the most patient and passionate potter. Clay consumed my every waking hour and I am so excited to see what I can achieve this year!"
In another post, Chatto focused on his six weeks in India.
Four of those were dedicated to training to be a yoga teacher. "Although I have no plans of teaching anytime soon," he clarified in a comment, "it was an incredibly eye opening experience which I am so deeply grateful for."
Chatto is now the only known member of the royal family qualified to teach yoga, according to Hello!. Although Meghan Markle is an avowed fan of the practice.
Still, he wasn't alone in his training, the royals girlfriend Sophie Pipe was also along for the journey.
