Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed their third child, a son, on Monday 23rd of April.
While leaving St. Mary's Hospital in London, after a quick photo call with their baby boy, the couple engaged in a rare moment of public affection.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had a rare moment of PDA in front of the photographers, by holding hands as they made their way to their car with the newborn prince.
Royal etiquette expert Myka Meier told People earlier this year that the PDA rules differ for each royal couple, explaining: "It is rare to see royal couples holding hands on official outings. While we are much less likely to see The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge holding hands in public."
It is likely that William and Kate are more reserved than Prince Harry and Meghan Markle because he will be the King of England some day, and therefore has more public responsibilities. It is rare to see the couple when they're not technically 'working' after all.
Whatever the reason, it's cute to see the royals acting like a normal loved-up couple!
