Be still, our beating hearts! Meghan Markle and Prince Harry went public with their engagement on Monday morning in the U.K. and since then fans have been freaking out over there love story.
The happy couple gave their first ever interview about their relationship today, speaking with BBC News about how they met and fell in love. But before they sat down to talk about their romance, they posed for photos in The Sunken Gardens in Kensington Palace, where they are set to reside as a married couple.
The pair did no interviews at the photocall, though Harry gave one sweet response to reporters. He was asked when he knew Markle was the one and adorably replied: "The very first time we met."
The pair later revealed the details of how they first met in their BBC interview.
The royal couple also revealed that they were set up on a “blind date” by a mutual friend about 18 months ago. Harry said he had never heard about Meghan or seen her hit TV show Suits.
“I was beautifully surprised when I walked into that room and saw her. There she was sitting there and I was like, ‘OK, well I’m going to have to up my game’,” he said.
"I fell in love with Meghan so incredibly quickly... All the stars were aligned - everything was just perfect," Harry said. "It was this beautiful woman just sort of literally tripped and fell into my life - I fell into her life."
