Can you talk us through your daily skin care routine?
"For me, it stars in the shower with body care, I like to make sure I’ve got super smooth legs. I always reach for the Venus Platinum Extra Smooth, it's my new beauty obsession. Thanks to its sleek metal handle and ergonomic design giving me ultimate control and precision when shaving.
"From there, I cleanse my face with one of Vaia Beauty’s natural skincare products and follow that by applying moisturiser. I don't typically wear a lot of makeup on my days off to give my skin a break but I do put a little on before leaving the house. Usually, it's an SPF tinted option like Tinted Daywear Light SPF30+, a touch of concealer and I'll curl my lashes and pop on some mascara like Guerlain Maxi Lash with a littleRMS Lip2Cheek tint to give myself some colour.
Your hair always looks so healthy, how do you look after it?
I get it cut every 8 or so weeks - I do get a few highlights put through it so I like to make sure I do a nourishing mask once every 10 days or so whilst making dinner - either with coconut oil or similar. I think eating a healthy, balanced diet helps with hair, skin, nails & general wellbeing too.

How do you find balance with such a busy schedule?
"Like most working parents, balance can often be harder to find. Sometimes I feel like I’ve got it down pat but most of the time I don't. I just try my hardest to stay on top of things and set aside some time for myself when I can.
"On my days off my beauty ritual takes a little longer and involves a bit of self-love. I run a bath, light a candle, I use Epsom salts, and then I just sit and relax & take a few moments (or hours! ha) for myself. I don't get to do it often but when I do, it's absolute bliss!"
What does a typical day on a plate look like for you?
"It often changes depending on my schedule and what I've got coming up but most days I have avocado on toast with some lemon for breakfast. If I’m feeling super healthy I’ll make a green smoothie. Porridge topped with berries is another favourite.
"For lunch, I usually opt for a salad with some protein and a pressed juice. Dinner varies because I’ve got a house full of boys so it may be healthy Mexican bowls, salmon with veggies or a hearty homemade soup with some bread on the side. Plus, a few coffees, possibly a sneaky glass of red wine on the weekend and a couple of squares of dark chocolate too!
How often do you workout?
"I love yoga and pilates but I don't get to do it daily. If I can make a class a week I’m happy. Alternatively, I’ll roll my mat out at home and do a little stretch/home practice. Between work and the kids plus all their after-school activities, I have found it harder to squeeze exercise in but I don't beat myself up about it, plus running around after the kids counts as exercise, right?"
You got engaged last year, a lot of brides start increasing their beauty treatments and fitness in the lead-up to the wedding, have you made any changes?
"No, not yet! We haven't got a wedding date locked in or made any huge plans as we are just enjoying the engagement bubble at the moment."
