The pair meet to honour a pact they made 17 years earlier, the rules of which are pretty simple. If either of them texted the word “run” and the other replied with the same, they were obliged to meet in New York’s Grand Central Station and start a cross-country trip of America.
What follows, is a string of adventure, spontaneity and potential madness and we’d be lying if we said we weren’t already hooked! Waller-Bridge herself is set to appear in the show as Laurel, an enigmatic character who the pair meet during their travels. The star-studded cast will also feature Rich Sommer (Mad Men), Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife) and Fiona and Tamara Podemski (Coroner).
April is certainly going to be a big month for Waller-Bridge and co, with Run premiering on HBO on April 12 and Killing Eve making a return on April 26.
