Perrie Edwards Called Out Gigi Hadid In The Middle Of A Performance
Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik ended their relationship over two years ago, but it was probably one of the more dramatic celeb break-ups of all time.
It was especially intense because they were ~engaged~ and things allegedly ended with the former One Direction star texting his fiancé that they were over. Then, not long after they called it quits, Zayn found love with model Gigi Hadid.
Though it wasn't all bad news for Perrie! Their painful breakup inspired one of her Little Mix's most successful songs to date, "Shout Out To My Ex." The lyrics of that song were already quite shady towards both Zayn and Gigi, but Perrie made it even shadier while performing it on stage recently.
The video was caught on camera by fans, and you can hear her singing: "I hope she gettin' better sex / Hope she ain't fakin' it like Hadid, babe."
Get it? She changed "I did" to "Hadid." How very clever.
It was fellow band-member Jade Thirlwall who had the best reaction to the change of lyrics, laughing and completely ditching her choreography when she realised what had been said.
Oh, the drama.
