If you're yet to binge-watch Netflix's Dead To Me, you should immediately cancel all your plans and watch it. Like, now. Jen, played by Christina Applegate, is a widow looking for the person who killed her husband in a hit-and-run. She then meets Judy, played by Linda Cardellini, in a grief support group - and things quickly take a shocking turn.
The series offers up ten half-hour episodes and after viewers bingeing it in a day, they are desperate for more. So, here is everything you need to know about the future of Dead To Me.
Has A Second Season Been Confirmed?
Dead to Me is still extremely new and Netflix has not announced another season. But if it were up to the show’s creator, Liz Feldman, there would be many more eps. “It would be the pleasure and honour of my life to do this show for as many seasons as makes sense. I would do this show forever if I could,” Feldman told the Hollywood Reporter.
What Would The Second Season Follow?
Feldman has hinted that she has some super-grim plans for a second season. “This show will always be a show that explores the dark sides and the light sides of grief, loss, forgiveness, and friendship. So suffice to say, there will be more darkness,” she says. “There’s an evening of the score and there’s a rebalancing that will take place and almost, in some ways, a role reversal.”
Will The Second Season Answer All The Cliff Hangers?
Feldman understands that she left us with some brutal cliff-hangers in the Dead to Me finale. She also says Steve’s death may have actually played out differently than we think. “Netflix will have to order a season 2 for us all to find out,” she says.
