Below, how Miley got the body she has today.
1. A dedicated yogi
Miley practises Ashtanga yoga - a physically demanding style of yoga that specifically helps with core strength and flexibility - six days a week and has done for years.
2. She loves reformer pilates
Miley has a reformer pilates machine installed in her home studio and has been practising pilates since 2013. Mari Windsor once told PEOPLE that Miley's favourite move is “a sidekick series on the Cadillac for legs and butt, then plenty of ab work. It's at least a half an hour of working out … You have to learn how to not just tighten up your tummy but actually pull your tummy into your lower back as much as you can."
3. Dancing for cardio
Miley will often post videos of herself working up a sweat in her home studio. She'll then show off her moves on stage - something which requires a lot of cardiovascular fitness.
4. She eats a strictly plant-based diet
Miley went vegan in 2014 and since then, she hasn't looked back. The singer, who is an avid animal lover, has previously told her followers to go vegan not just for animals, but for the environmental impact (a recent study found that going vegan is the single biggest way to reduce your imapact on the planet).
5. She avoids gluten and dairy
In 2012, Miley cut all gluten and dairy from her diet, something she credited with helping her lose weight in her teens. While it's unclear whether Miley still sticks to being gluten-free now that she's vegan, she likely still avoids it where possible.
