New parents Meghan and Harry have just landed in Rome for the weekend sans baby Archie to attend the wedding of their close friend and fashion designer Misha Nonoo, whom Meghan recently worked with on her capsule collection of office attire for Smart Works - a UK charity that helps dress and coach unemployed women.
Misha helped design a crisp white button-down shirt for the Smart Works project, telling Harper’s Bazaar, "Thinking about the essential pieces you need in your wardrobe, it makes sense that the foundation of a wardrobe should be black and white; for example, the classic white shirt and well-fitting black pants."
She added, "Empowering women has always been my goal as a designer, and I was thrilled our brand could support so many women’s professional pursuits in this special partnership."
Misha Nonoo is marrying her longtime partner Michael Hess no Friday 20th September. The pair got engaged in February and made their first public appearance as a couple when they attended Meghan and Harry’s wedding in 2018. Their wedding will be held at 17th-century Villa Aurelia, which has incredible views across Rome.
According to HOLA!, the dress code for Misha and Michael’s wedding states that women should wear full-length dresses and men should dress in tuxedos.
Other expected guests at Misha’s Rome wedding include Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, Karlie Kloss and husband Joshua Kushner, Ellie Goulding and new-husband Caspar Jopling, and Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
