Speaking to The Sun a royal insider commented: "Meghan has been looking long and hard at paints for the Sussex nursery. Rather than opt for fashionable Farrow and Ball paint in favoured shades such as Wevet, Peignoir and Pavilion Grey and Salmon, the Sussexes are much in favour of The Organic & Natural Paint Co’s Auro range for the nursery.’
"Natural, eco-friendly, safe and non-toxic paints for your home" - is how the Auro range is described on their website, "No more chemicals leaching into the air your family breathe for a cleaner & safer home."
On top of the decor decisions, Meghan and Harry have reportedly installed a $60,000 green energy unit.
It's not just Meghan who makes a conscious effort to be eco-friendly though. Speaking in BBC's documentary Prince, Son and Heir: Charles At 70, Harry revealed the one habit that he adopted from his father - turning off all the lights in his home. "My wife certainly goes, 'Well, why turn the lights off? It’s dark,'" Harry said. "I go, 'We only need one light, we don’t need, like, six,' and all of a sudden, it becomes a habit."
