The Royal wedding is just a few months away, and excitement is certainly peaking among royalists.
From leaked wedding dress sketches, to reports about Meghan's mother Doria walking her down the aisle, more and more details of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's nuptials are surfacing every day.
The latest news to reach us is that the former Suits actress has already chosen a maid of honour. Meghan will break Royal (and British!) tradition and ditch the conventional chief bridesmaid in favour of a maid of honour.
"While it is very much a British wedding, expect a few American touches too. She's not picked a chief bridesmaid, she's chosen a maid of honour," reports US Weekly.
Speculation over who exactly will take on the important role is growing. Chief among Meghan's best friends are actress Priyanka Chopra, stylist Jessica Mulroney and Serena Williams.
Only time will tell who serves as Meghan's maid of honour, though Harry will certainly have Prince William by his side. Harry and Meghan are set to tie the knot at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in England on May 19, 2018.
