The Duchess of Sussex stepped out the Blessed Dress ($1,800; at karengee.com) by Australian designer Karen Gee. The classic style quickly generated public interest because according to The Sydney Morning Herald, the designer’s website crashed moments after Meghan was spotted wearing it.
Gee’s designs offer women the opportunity to customise pieces to better fit their body type with the website offering assistance with custom sizing in order to "empower women". Gee has said how she is "proud" that Meghan chose one of her designs "It's great that she's wearing it but [I'd be] just as proud of any woman [wearing my design]. It's quite surreal, obviously, she's had a lot of pieces to choose from. Our brand is simple and elegant but our brand is very suited to her style.”
