Meghan Markle's family have been a pivotal - and problematic - part of the plans for the May 19th royal wedding at Windsor Castle.
Meghan's tumultuous relationship with her half-sister Samantha Grant and half-brother Thomas Markle Jr. has caused problems with the guest list, and ultimately the pair have not been invited to the big day.
The latest family members to discuss the wedding invitations publicly are Meghan's nephew Tyler Dooly and his mom Tracy, who was married to Meghan's half-brother. In an interview on Good Morning Britain the pair revealed that, while roughly 600 people have been invited to St George's Chapel for the ceremony, they are not on the guest list. They also don't expect to receive invitations any time soon.
"At this point, you know again this all goes back to Meghan," Tyler said during the broadcast. "Ultimately it's her day, it's her happiness and again we've been here from the very beginning her whole life...just always rooting her on and supporting her."
"I don’t think we are getting invitations, but that is fine, we are so proud of her," said Tracy.
The show's host Richard Madeley asked when the pair had last seen Meghan, with Tyler revealing he hadn't spoken to her in three years and Tracy saying she hadn't seen her in two decades.
The host then slammed the pair, saying: "Well then it doesn't seem unreasonable for you not to be invited, does it? I mean, if it's 20 years, you're pretty much on the fringes, aren't you, of the family, to be honest?"
To Tyler and Tracy's credit, they appeared to wish Meghan nothing but happiness despite not being invited to celebrate the wedding.
Later in the interview Tracy confirmed that Meghan's father Thomas Markle would be attending the wedding and walking his daughter down the aisle.
"He's very excited to be a part of it," Tracy revealed.
