Everlane’s 'Choose What You Pay' Sale has a reputation of being emotionally manipulative. It is. You can either pay the lowest marked sale price or the third and highest still-discounted price to help Everlane out a little bit more. But the truth of the matter is the world is currently on fire and we’re all just doing what we can. So if you just want to spend $22 on a t-shirt, so be it. It is called the choose what you pay sale after all.
Speaking of t-shirts, almost all of Everlane’s best-selling essentials are included in the only online sale that gives you some autonomy. There’s the box-cut pocket tee that won’t make you feel bad for just wearing a plain white t-shirt and the wide-leg chino that’s basically a formal pajama pant you can wear anywhere. Prices for each start at $22 and $78 respectively, which means your new WFH uniform can cost as little as $100. It’s also a timeless pairing that will look just as good once we can step outdoors again.
Aside from its tried-and-true wardrobe essentials, including the Trainer sneakers and Day Glove flats, Everlane has some of its buzzier pieces up for grabs too. When Meghan Markle wore its short sleeve jumpsuit, she promptly caused a sell-out. As she always does. Not only is the jumpsuit back in stock, but prices start at just $81, which is over $100 off the original price. While Markle’s beloved Market Tote isn’t included in the sale, Everlane does have its traveler tote in pale pink for as low as $109. Angelina Jolie’s trench is also not available but with the current weather we’re having, the brand’s white denim jacket for just $83 feels like a better deal anyway. And the one piece that’s in both Jolie and Markle’s closet, the Editor Slingback, is also available for as low as $143.
The Everlane Choose What You Pay sale is something people wait months for and sizes are already selling out quick. Best of all, almost everything the brand makes is comfortable enough to wear around the house but chic enough to feel dressed up in. So no need to feel guilty; with everything that’s happening we all deserve some retail therapy at a price of our own choosing. We’ll take what we can get these days. And sometimes that just happens to include a $73 pair of jeans.
